09 PRINCIPALS
Managing Partner
Responsible for portfolio strategy, investment leadership, institutional and DFI relationships, B-BBEE partnerships, and capital deployment oversight. He ensures Transvaal executes disciplined resource transactions with strategic control and investor alignment.
Partner — Commercialisation & Operations
Responsible for preliminary due diligence, site establishment, financial modelling, and revenue execution. He ensures that technically viable resource opportunities are translated into structured, operationally ready, and commercially bankable projects.
Junior Partner — Operations
Responsible for portfolio operations coordination, end-to-end deal-pipeline administration, and post-investment execution support. She ensures every live transaction moves from screening through commitment with disciplined data-room, KYC, and closing rigour.
Chief Mining Engineer
Responsible for mine planning, throughput optimisation, de-bottlenecking, production readiness, and technical execution across portfolio operations. He ensures mining assets are operationally efficient and commercially deliverable.
Chief Geologist
Responsible for competent person assessments, resource modelling, geological due diligence, and acquisition-target validation. He ensures each resource opportunity is technically sound, geologically verified, and investment-ready.
Mechanical Engineer
Responsible for processing plant rebuilds, critical equipment uplift, materials-handling optimisation, and mechanical reliability across the portfolio. He ensures plant assets are restored, stabilised, and operationally efficient.
Partner · Chemical Engineer
Responsible for process engineering, metallurgical plant optimisation, beneficiation, and tailings retreatment circuits across portfolio assets. He ensures processing systems are technically robust, efficient, scalable, and commercially aligned.

Responsible for mine planning, operational execution support, pit and underground production readiness, and site-level engineering coordination. She ensures mining assets are planned, executable, and operationally controlled.
JET Advisor
Responsible for Just Energy Transition policy advisory, government engagement, regulatory alignment, stakeholder mapping, and public-sector coordination across Transvaal's mining, energy, rehabilitation, and infrastructure portfolio opportunities.
